Terms of Use
These Terms govern your access to and use of STARC (“STARC”, “we”, “us”), including the website, interface, and related services (the “Interface”). By connecting a wallet or using the Interface, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Risk Disclosure.
1. Nature of the Interface
STARC provides a non-custodial interface to smart contracts that enable permissionless token launches and trading on supported networks. We do not custody your keys, assets, or private keys. You interact directly with the blockchain through your own wallet.
The Interface may display information indexed from public chain data. That information can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. On-chain state and your wallet are authoritative.
2. Eligibility
You represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live).
- You have full legal capacity to enter into these Terms and to use digital assets.
- You are not located in, or a resident of, a jurisdiction where use of the Interface or related protocols is prohibited.
- You will comply with all applicable laws, including sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules.
3. Experimental / test networks
The Interface may currently target experimental or test networks (including Arc Testnet). Test assets typically have no monetary value. Features, parameters, and contracts may change or break without notice. Mainnet availability, if any, will be subject to additional notices and may require renewed acceptance of updated Terms.
4. Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for your wallet, seed phrase, and device security.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing smart-contract addresses, transaction details, gas settings, and token parameters before confirming any transaction.
- You understand that blockchain transactions are typically irreversible once confirmed.
- You will not use the Interface to violate law, infringe rights, or interfere with the Interface or underlying protocols.
5. No advice; no offer
Nothing on the Interface is investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. Nothing constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security, commodity, or financial instrument. Tokens created or traded through the Interface may have no value and may not be suitable for any person.
6. Third-party protocols
Launches may interact with third-party protocols (for example Uniswap V3 or network-specific DEX infrastructure), RPC providers, indexers, explorers, and wallets. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their availability, security, or terms.
7. Intellectual property
The STARC name, branding, and Interface design are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or misuse them except as needed to use the Interface. Open-source components remain under their respective licenses.
8. Disclaimers
THE INTERFACE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE INTERFACE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARC AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE INTERFACE OR RELATED PROTOCOLS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Interface shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100) or the amount you paid us for access (if any), whichever is greater.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STARC and its contributors from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Interface, your tokens or launches, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version and updating the version date. Material changes may require renewed wallet acceptance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where local law requires otherwise.
12. Related documents
These Terms should be read with our Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure.
